Pathology:Radiology Correlation

This add on allows for manual and automatic alignment of Virtual Slides with volumetric data (e.g. Radiology or Blockface images). Alignment is fully integrated with the HG-MIM pan and zoom interface allowing full resolution inspection of Gigapixel images during the alignment process. Features include:

• Manual alignment (inplane rotation/translation, 3D positioning) of Virtual sides within 3D volumetric data.
• Support for multiple 3D datasets (including manual 3D volume:volume rigid alignment of unaligned sets of different voxel resolutions)
• Automatic "slotting in" of additional images once two or more virtual slides have been manually placed.
• Automatic methods for alignment correction based on approximate alignment.
• Generation of aligned volumetric data sets.
• Quantification of volumetric data or Virtual Slides based on annotations made on either modality (e.g. mean, variance of intensity, or positive pixel counts).
• Conversion of annotations into volumetric data for 3D rendering.
• Conversion of annotations from/to original image frame of reference from/to 3D volumetric frame of reference (including imported annotations e.g from Aperio ImageScope).
